I am delighted to welcome you to the website of St Chad’s Church, Holt.

We are a welcoming and inclusive church, and we would love you to join us.

For centuries our community has gathered in St Chad’s Church, Sunday by Sunday, for baptisms / Christenings, weddings and also for funerals and at times of Remembrance.

We love our ancient and beautiful church but in truth the church is the people who gather to worship, and who through their words and actions seek to proclaim the love of God in this generation.

Regular Services

Sunday 9.30 am:
Parish Eucharist: All Age Worship

First Sunday of each month:
A family service is held at 9.30 am on the first Sunday of each month. However, children are welcome and included at all parish services.

Tuesday 11.15 am:
Holy Eucharist (followed by a light lunch in church on the first Tuesday of the month).

Baptisms/Christenings
Baptism is a beginning in the life of faith in Jesus Christ, and membership of God’s family, the Church. To arrange a baptism or discuss any questions you may have, please contact The Rev’d. Vicki Burrows, who will be happy to help you. Contact us.

Weddings

Your wedding day is likely to be one of the happiest and most memorable events of your life, and in the lives of your family and friends. As part of the marriage service, we will ask God to bless and guide you as you begin your married life, and we’ll pray that God will accompany you on your journey through life together. If you are considering marrying at St Chad’s Church please contact The Rev’d. Funerals

A Christian funeral is a good way to both acknowledge the memory of our loved ones and the hope of the eternal life we have in Christ.
